journal #11

Marc Antony i feel is way more noble than Brutus
-Marc Antony is because he is more true to his country than brutus.
-brutus killed himself and left Rome hanging but Antony is still there
-bruttus killed the beloved leader of Rome and now everyone is mad at him so it owuldnt makehim a good leader.

journal #10

i don't think he will commit suicide because hes always talking about being the leader of Rome and and being true to Rome and him killing himself would just ruin everything and people would be furious.

journal #7 (did caesar have to die?)

I don't necessarily beleive that it was needed for caesar to die for there to be spmewhat peace in Rome. I mean he could have just been "voted" out if that were possible back in those days. The conspirators were mostly responsible for caesars death. I would be so ashamed if i were Brutus because he definitely betrayed his "friend" Caesar, by following cassius to make him happy and going against a good friend. The conspiritors all went behind his back and planned to kill him because they thoguth that it would be good for Rome. In the end all of the conspirators are guilty of the assassanation of Julius Caesar and if they didn't go through with it, Rome may have actually prospered during Caesar's ruling.

journal #6

Brutus: Cassius i am on your side.
Cassius: Good
Brutus: do we get rid of "The Great" Caesar now?
Cassius: yes! But How??

journal #5(Dreams and visions)

If someones dreams foretold something dangerous about me I would probably avoid that thing that might happen. i wouldn't want that thing to happen to me if it wasn't a positive thing, so therefore i would definitely avoid the situation. but then again i would be very conscious of my surroundings and what is going on around me.

journal #4(newspaper article)

CAESAR REFUSES CROWN!
Seen at the Lupercal festivals, Julius Caesar refuses the crown of Rome because he acted like he didn't want it even though  Marc Anthony had offered it to him three times.  A bystander said he thought it was a "good act". He said that it showed that Caesar could handle all the power he has. But another bystander stated that it was dishonest of Caesar to not take the crown because he was just trying to prove he was a good guy.

journal #2(do we control our fate?)

No, we don't really control most of our fate. The world/God already has a plan for us but if we chose to take a different path then things may probably end up being different. Right now we can control most of the minor things such as doing good in school and making the right choices. but God has a plan for when we die.  But sometimes we can control when we die for instance if we smoke or drink we can die. We can prevent the bad things that happen in our lives though.

journal #1 (ideal Public Leader)

An ideal public leader should be very considerate of their countries ideas and needs. An ideal leader should be aware as to what is going on and dealing with the bad things that may be happening in their country. An ideal public leader should at least try to make sure to put everyone else's needs before theirs. An ideal leader should try to make their country a better place. An ideal public leader should actually do what they say needs to be done instead of just saying it. An ideal leader should not be corrupt and should be well liked. They should also be well spoken and not afraid to stand up for what is right, and should be a role model to their citizens.

vocab 5 sentence paragraph

One day Tim and Jim went on a journey and ran into an inimical man named Ernest. Tim and Jim tried to appease with Ernest but he was very Bellicose. After a while he was still inhospitable towards them. But he was just kidding with them an in probity he told them that he really liked them.
